We received an email from an acquaintance who simply sent an “FYI” and a link about Baba Vangelia, the prophetess of Bulgaria, who passed in 1996. There has been a surge of internet articles about the predictions, much of it ominous, and plain sensation seeking. In this article, we take a look at Prophecy, Seers, Clairvoyants and the history of Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, known popularly around the world as Baba Vanga. We look to spurious predictions, unsubstantiated predictions and some actual material sourced to Baba Vanga. We then look at how people might use discernment on materials found in the media, be it the newspaper, radio, the evening TV news or the Internet media. The media presents information; it is up to the user to evaluate that information in its context.
The Mystery School – brought together by the Cosmic Hierarchy to explore the origins of man on this planet – (and uncover much of the history of Planet Earth) has been exploring right from the emergence of form from Grand Central Sun of all Universes. Information is given by way of reveire, group discussion (prompted by telepathy and suggestions in the ether), work with The Oracle, and contribution from an occasional member. Moreover, in the future of human life in the 5th Dimension, working with and trust in higher faculties – as revealed in the last session – will be very important to human self-learning, as well as learning about the role of this planet in this galaxy, in this universe. The January 2016 meeting of the Mystery School was planned to recover material lost from the earlier session. The ladies of The Mystery School had conducted a session in November of 2015 during which part of the recording had been lost. We also discover that another of the participants in the Mystery School has direct connections with the narratives about Kariong and King Tut in their soul story. In this recovered session, once again we bring you an intriguing session of The Mystery School. You can read the first instalment of Egypt and Australia: The King Tut Link here
The phrase “spiritual but not religious” has become widely used in recent years by some Americans who are trying to describe their religious identity. While Pew Research Center does not categorize survey respondents in such a way, our surveys do find that the U.S. public overall appears to be growing a bit less religious – but also somewhat more spiritual.
Makara Sankranti is celebration of the entry of the Sun into Capricorn. In India, it is the entry of the Sun, (Surya) into zodicac sign called Makara, hence, it is called Makara Sankranti. This festival marks the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring. It is a day of celebration, the commencement of harvest, and special foods are prepared (pongal) and gifts are exchanged – sometimes, the gifting of idols to family and friends. It is important to feed people on this day, as the gifts of the Earth belong to all. If India were to have patron saints, then perhaps we might say that Swami Vivekananda is the patron saint – or guru – of Inter-religious encounter, or perhaps, in a more modern sense, an advocate for toleration and harmony among the world’s religions. Swami Vivekananda travelled to the Americas and participated in the inaugural Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago in 1893. We bring you excerpts from his speech on this occasion (in 2016) of the Birthday of Swami Vivekananda. (Vivekananda Jayanti)
Vedic Astrology differs from the popular western sun-sign astrology in that it not only has more to offer, but also shadow planets, known as Ketu and Rahu. These shadow planets are significators of what we cannot see within, but which emerges sporadically, that which is called the shadow self. When shadow planets change signs, the shadow self is evoked.
